SSh-36 (also known as "khalhingolka" or "khasanka") - personal protective equipment for a soldier of the USSR Armed Forces, a steel helmet of the 1936 model. The first Soviet-made steel helmet, adopted by the Red Army. In other sources, the name of the helmet is found, during the period of its development, "Red Army helmet steel model 1935".
