    . Size #1. Standard third pattern helmet introduced in 1940. It was then the standard Russian Army Helmet for the rest of WW2.
    This is an original example. It still has its original paint. The shell is made of steel, and it is undamaged, apart from some minor scratches. Paint is somewhat scuffed from use. The lining is fabric with black waterproofing on the outside. The lining has many minor cracks and and scuffs, but is otherwise intact. Chinstrap is khaki web material, and is stained but otherwise complete. Helmet is complete with all straps, laces and other fittings.
