    Description
    This item in my EBAY store is a MILLERSBURG  "HANGING CHERRIES"  MARIGOLD CARNIVAL GLASS  10 1/4"  LARGE "ICE CREAM" SHAPED BOWL.   This Millersburg "HANGING CHERRIES" marigold carnival glass large "ice cream" bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom that is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining;   I've added an extra photo at the end showing just how low a bowl this  "HANGING CHERRIES"  ice cream bowl is along side another large "HANGING CHERRIES" ice cream bowl;   I may also add that this MILLERSBURG  "HANGING CHERRIES"  MARIGOLD CARNIVAL GLASS LARGE "ICE CREAM" SHAPED BOWL is an early MILLERSBURG vintage antique carnival glass "HANGING CHERRIES" bowl that has been used and displayed over many years ago and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty surely cherrished this piece of MILLERSBURG antique glass according to the condition this MILLERSBURG "HANGING CHERRIES" large ice cream bowl remains in today, a very beautiful "HANGING CHERRIES" MILLERSBURG bowl that is just the way this bowl left the "MILLERSBURG GLASS COMPANY" many years ago;   The glass itself is thick glass and t
    he finish is the satin type finish;   I can not find any roughness or damage to this "HANGING CHERRIES" large "ice cream" bowl, a very much sought after MILLERSBURG pattern, I've taken a close up shot showing that there is NO wear to the "HANGING CHERRIES", I find so little Millersburg carnival glass that I did not know that their carnival glass was even around any more, after all the "MILLERSBURG" carnival glass was only produced over a three year period before the MILLERSBURG factory burned down ending the ERA of "MILLERSBURG GLASS" according to my reference material, but I have my hands on a dandy "HANGING CHERRIES" bowl that is looking for a good home to sit on one's top shelf of the china cabinet;   The back secondary pattern on this bowl is a "WIDE PANEL" pattern often found on many carnival glass pieces, there is iridizing on the back of this bowl as seen in my numerous photos taken;
    I will also mention that this Millersburg bowl that I have here does have the early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having your stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass, these characteristics are from the production of this MILLERSBURG "HANGING CHERRRIES" bowl and is NOT considered damage;   Folks I like to photograph my carnival in natural day & sun light and also in the shade, it did not matter what angle or position I photographed this "HANGING CHERRIES" large ice cream bowl, the beautiful COLOR and iridescence can be seen in my photos taken, COLOR is the major factor in buying carnival glass.............it is all about the COLOR;   This MILLERSBURG "HANGING CHERRIES" much sought after pattern can be seen and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by, "Edwards & Carwile" a book on carnival glass, the "STANDARD
    ENCYCLOPEDIA of CARNIVAL GLASS 7th EDITION, on pages #71;   I've taken numerous (all) photos outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles & positions to show pattern, COLOR, condition, carnival glass iridescence, & size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.   When using a cell phone or mobile device please click on "see full description" to see more photos and measurements;   Insurance is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost is .25 for the shipping and .75 for the insurance, ANY OVER PAID SHIPPING COST WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU THE BUYER;   All stickers on MY MILLERSBURG  "HANGING CHERRIES"  marigold carnival glass  10 1/4"  large "ice cream" shape bowl sent to you must remain on MY MILLERSBURG  "HANGING CHERRIES"  marigold carnival glass  10 1/4"  large "ice cream" shape bowl
