Presented here is a fabulous antique pickle castor. This has a vaseline/ uranium glass insert, glows brilliantly under black light, it has a deep diamond pattern in the glass with facetted bottom, no chips on the lip. The lid fits over the top lip of the jar, it has an ornate floral pattern final. The frame is very ornate with a raised floral and scroll designs, four feet,
decorative
sides and top. The tong has very ornate fret work sides and ends. The frame is 12 1/2" tall, 5" wide. The jar is 4 1/8" high 3 3/8" across, fits perfectly inside the frame. The frame is very sturdy silver plate metal, marked Jaccard Silver Co, St Louis, quadruple plate, it has an aged patina, normal tarnish and finish wear for the age, no breaks or dents.
