Beautiful antique Tiffany & Co. silver soldered, ornate decorative, soda siphon bottle cover ca 1900-1910. Silver soldered is heavy silver plate over nickel silver, made for hotels, trains, ships etc. Stands up to rough handling without denting or breaking, shines up like sterling without plate loss or wear. Dispense soda in style, this fits over the top of a siphon bottle, it is hinged to open, once in place it is held with a locking pin. Decorative, ornate band of flowers/foliage and a gadroon edge, it measures approx.  6.5" x 3.5", lovely soft patina and only expected signs of age and use, surface scratches etc. No dents, breaks or repairs.
